About Sophia Gamble
Sophia Gamble is an emerging Stage Manager who is finishing their BFA in Technical Design and Production: Stage Management from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). She has been the Production Stage Manager for a variety of large scale productions, including a Shakespeare Production of The Winter's Tale (CCM), a Little Mermaid Ballet (CCM), as well as the musical production of Matilda (Interlochen Center of the Arts). Each of these productions were on a tight timeline, but due to having strong room management skills in the room, she was able to keep the production on track. Matilda, was an exhilarating challenge for her due to the number of calling cues. Musicals brought a new excitement for Sophia and she would love to take on new musical challenges in the future! Being an Assistant Stage Manager also brought difficult obstacles to Sophia, including in Let the Right One In (CCM), Spring Awakening (CCM), and The Lighting Thief: Percy Jackson Musical (Interlochen Center for the Arts). Through these experiences, she showcased her attention to detail through her deck tracking paperwork to allow backstage to run smoothly. Sophia hopes to continue her theatrical career and challenge herself by continuing to do large scale productions and taking on new challenges.
